"Angus Morley was recommended to us by a garden designer, and has recently completed redeveloping our back garden. The work first involved completely clearing the site of existing concrete, paving, raised beds and shrubs, before building a hardwood deck, a number of raised beds, fitting a small arbour (and building a bench), laying new patio and edging, and laying turf. We are very pleased with the results. The quality of the work and Angus' attention to detail was extremely high. All of the new structures are sturdy and stable, and the joinery and other finishing is very precise. The stone cutting to fit the recessed manhole cover in the patio is a work of art."
"Augus spent a good amount of attention to the all-important preparation, in particular the sub-base for the patio, edging and lawn, and preparing the soil for the beds. Angus's style is professional, modest and relaxed. His quote was clear and descriptive, and while he stuck to the plan throughout, he showed a lot of flexibility in accommodating new ideas as they arose, providing us with options and recommendations. He was good fun to have around the house too."
"His efforts to minimise mess - setting up and taking down floor and wall coverings every day - were appreciated, as we have a 15 month old baby trying to get everywhere and into everything. He also distinguished himself by being keen to come back and finish off the little jobs, and tidy up without being chased! From a cost perspective we found his quote very reasonable and consider that we have received good value for money, especially compared with other quotes that we received. The arrangement of staged / milestone payments worked well for us."
"Perhaps most importantly, we were very comfortable trusting Angus with the keys to our house while we were away on holiday. If we have any further garden work to do, Angus will be the first on the list of people to call, and we have no hesitation in recommending him."
